Morales-Garoffolo (ICE/CSIC-IEEC), F. Huang (Beijing Normal Univ.), report that an optical spectrogram of PSN J09084248+4448132 (=SNhunt263) (range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.2 nm), obtained on Oct. 28.01 UT with the Asiago 1.82-m Copernico Telescope (+ AFOSC) under the Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN 335, 841), shows that the object is a young type Ia supernova. Adopting a redshift z = 0.0268 for the host galaxy UGC 4798 (De Vaucouleurs et al. 1991, RC3.9, via NED), the spectrum resembles that of normal type Ia supernovae a few days before the maximum light. An ejecta velocity of 10400 km/s is deduced from the position of the minimum of the Si II 635 nm line. Classification was made via GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A.Ap. 488, 383) and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024). The Asiago classification spectra are posted at the website''''
